The Black Family Engagement Program aims to equip individuals with I/DD delays and their families with the necessary information, skills, and support to actively participate in and contribute to their communities.
Program Mission
The Black Family Engagement Program focuses on providing Education and Civic Engagement (ECE) services tailored to meet the unique needs of Black families with individuals experiencing Intellectual/Developmental Disabilities (I/DD) delays. We prioritize the lived experiences and leadership of Black individuals within our community.
